Ana was born in Barcelona in 1960, where she graduated in modern dance from Instituto del Teatro. After her first professional work with Ballet Contemporani de Barcelona, she followed the professional stage in the CNDC (Centre National de Dance Contemporaine) under direction of Viola Farber.
She became part of the Groupe Émile Dubois (Jean Claude Gallotta) in 1983.
In 1985 she moved to the Netherlands, where she performed among others with Bewegingstheater Bewth and Onafhankelijk Toneel.
It is also to mention her long collaboration with N+N Corsino in video projects.
She was awarded the Silver Dance Prize 1991 for her role in 'Amy and Ana' from Ton Lutgerink.
Since 1986 she began her relationship with Arthur Rosenfeld, creating with him a long series of intimate dance duets, as well as collaborating with him as assistant in most of Meekers' productions.
